Whatsapp now allows group voice and video calls between up to 4 people.

You can now make a group video and audio calls with up to four people total on WhatsApp regardless of where the people are.The new feature has an end-to-end encryption, ensuring that your communications are always secure. It’s also designed to work reliably around the world including areas where network conditions might not be the best.

To start a group call, just start a usual one-on-one video call, and tap the “add participant” button in the top right of the screen to add more contacts to the call.

 

 

WhatsApp said, “Over the last couple of years, users have enjoyed making voice and video calls on WhatsApp.” The messaging platform asserts that users spend over 2 billion minutes on calls per day.

The feature is currently rolling out on the iPhone and Android versions of our app.
